Property access limits now also apply to Meters and Equipment — When staff are limited to certain properties, the Meters and Equipment lists now respect that limit like every other screen already did. An overdue alert can now be acknowledged (it stays flagged as overdue). Work orders for a property with no Operations Manager now go to that property’s own Property Manager. The Export menu only appears for staff who may export. Exported spreadsheets now open safely in Excel.

???? Ask the assistant about defective equipment — The assistant is now available on the Defective Assets screen and the Nothing-to-Declare Log. It opens with a read of what's defective right now — how long the worst has been down, the pattern by equipment type, safety-critical activity, and anything flagged defective with no repair task open — and you can then ask follow-up questions in plain language ("what's been down more than a week?", "what did the encoder report yesterday?"). It also answers how-to and policy questions straight from the feature's training guide, so the explanation always matches the documented rules. It is read-only: it can look things up and explain them, but it can never flag, clear or decommission equipment, and it only shows what your own permissions already allow.
